At Scales & Tails Sanctuary, our mission is to inspire a deeper appreciation for wildlife through education, conservation, rescue, and meaningful animal encounters. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Orange County and Southeast Texas, we are dedicated to creating a safe and enriching environment where animals can thrive and visitors of all ages can connect with nature.
Through hands-on learning experiences, responsible animal care, community outreach, and conservation-focused programs, we strive to foster compassion, curiosity, and stewardship for the natural world. Our vision is to build a destination that not only provides exceptional care for animals but also serves as a place where families, schools, and wildlife enthusiasts can learn, explore, and create lasting memories while supporting the preservation of wildlife for future generations.
